Now Hiring: Motion Designer (Junior to Mid)

Location: County Durham, UK

Type: Full-time (Commute to office required)

Salary: £20,000 – £30,000 (Depending on expertise)

Creator are a small studio located in Castle Eden, County Durham. We build bespoke design solutions for a plethora of industries spanning the globe; from banking, gaming and housing to luxury e-commerce.

We’re looking for a talented motion designer to join our small team to enjoy working with clients who care about their businesses as much as we do.

• You have a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design, colour and layout.
• You should have a strong competence in creative software – industry standard applications like Abode CC, Sketch and Figma.
• After Effects is a must, Cinema4D/Blender is a bonus.
• You understand how to set efficient documents up in After Effects, making the most of the software to ensure that mass production of multi-lingual assets is as efficient as possible.
• You should have a passion for digital products, love surfing the web trying to find little bits of magic to share with the team.
• You can look over a brief and gain an understanding as to what the client is looking for, if not, you understand how to speak to clients on a professional level to identify their exact requirements.
• You’re eager to continue developing your skills. Knowledge is power!
• If something isn’t right – it bothers you and you have to fix it.

• Work directly with clients and staff to define project goals and ensure your solutions reflect what’s found during the discovery process.
• Define the best method in which to solve problems and execute on them.
• Be comfortable jumping between print and digital projects, working with internal developers and designers to develop design solutions.
• Design with the clients message in mind, don’t let trends get in the way.
• Collaborate with other designers to review and improve your work and the work of others.
• Work to and manage deadlines.
