Bespoke builds on clean WordPress. Custom themes, and custom plugins only where a plugin is genuinely the answer rather than the quickest thing to reach for. We write for whoever inherits the site after us, because somebody always does, and we've been that person often enough to know exactly how it feels to open a 4,000-line functions.php with no comments in it.
Performance
Slow stores lose sales, and WooCommerce has a short list of usual suspects: cart fragments hammering admin-ajax.php on every page, unindexed lookups against wp_postmeta, an action scheduler table that has grown to a few million rows nobody has ever pruned. We profile before we touch anything. Guessing at performance work is how you spend a fortnight making no measurable difference.
Support and maintenance
Somebody who already knows your store when it breaks at 4pm on Black Friday. Updates, security patching, monitoring, and a phone that actually gets answered.
Migrations
Moving onto WooCommerce, or untangling a store that has grown crooked over a decade of good intentions. Redirects and data integrity get planned before anything moves, and the rollback is one we've tested rather than assumed. If you're going the other way and moving off WooCommerce onto Shopify, we do that too – we've written a guide on it, and we won't pretend the answer is always WordPress.
Headless WooCommerce
WordPress and WooCommerce as the engine, a Nuxt or Vue frontend for your customers. We've been shipping headless builds on this stack for years and when the use case is right, it's very good. It also gets asked for a good deal more often than it's needed, and a well-built theme would often ship faster and cost less to run – I'd rather say that at the first meeting than three months in.
